Freezing  Your Requests (and Unfreezing)

If you plan on going on vacation or otherwise be unable to pick up requests when they arrive at the library, you can freeze them.

  • Go to your library’s online catalog and click “Login”.
  • Log into your online library account using your library card number and PIN.
  • Click on your name to get to your library account.
  • Select “Holds” to view your current requests. Check the box under the column “Freeze” next to the item(s) you wish to freeze. Select the “Update List” button. You will be asked to confirm.
  • You may only “freeze” requests that have a hold list.
  • You must remember to unfreeze requests when you are ready to receive your items. Uncheck the box under the column “Freeze” and select the “Update List” button.
